CragRats Support World AIDS Day
CragRats Café Bar staff have created an exclusive cocktail in the fabulous red colour that symbolises this special day. ‘The Redmopolitan’, which is a delicious combination of citrus vodka, Grand Marnier, cranberry juice and lime will be available to customers for just £2, £1 of which CragRats will donate to the charity National AIDS Trust. Along with the cocktail, the now famous red ribbons are being sold in the Café Bar. CragRats deliver numerous education programmes on a range of issues, including sexual health. The sexual health programmes communicate key messages in schools and other learning environments. CragRats recently worked with Bradford South and West Primary Care Trust targeting young people in years 10 and 11. The main objectives were to raise the self esteem of teenagers, explode some of the myths surrounding sexual relationships and empower them to take personal responsibility for their own behaviour. The drama-based programme and workshop activity helped to increase awareness of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV / AIDS information and the accessibility of sexual health services. Laura Pegg, Head of Marketing said, “CragRats are delighted to be involved in World Aids Day. Our work in education delivering sexual health programmes makes this a very relevant cause and one that is close to our hearts. CragRats staff will be raising money on 1st December through a Red day in our offices and The Redmopolitan in the Café Bar. We will also be raising awareness through our website cragrats.com” For more information on World AIDS day please visit the official website by clicking here
