Eastbound From Liverpool/Manchester (M62):

Exit the M62 at Junction 23 onto the A640 into Huddersfield. Follow the A640 until you reach the main ring road. Turn right towards Sheffield/Holmfirth A616, taking the middle lane. Exit the ring road onto the A616 towards Holmfirth. Follow the A616 for approximately 3 miles (be aware of the left turn at the traffic lights). Take the right hand lane signposted A6024 Holmfirth (next to the Somerfield garage). At the 2nd set of traffic lights turn left into Victoria Street. At the bottom of the road take the 2nd right up the hill onto the B6106, Dunford Road. CragRats Mill is situated a further 0.5 miles up the hill on the left hand side.

Westbound From Leeds/Hull (M62):

Exit the M62 at Junction 25 onto the A644. At the first roundabout, bear right onto the A62 into Huddersfield. At the main ring road, turn left (you will see Huddersfield town centre in front of you). Take the middle lane. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit towards Sheffield/Holmfirth A616. Stay in the left hand lane driving past the University. Exit the ring road onto the A616 towards Holmfirth. Follow the A616 for approximately 3 miles (be aware of the left turn at the traffic lights). Take the right hand lane signposted A6024 Holmfirth (next to the Somerfield garage). Northbound From Leeds (M1):

Exit M1 at Junction 39. Follow the A636 to Denby Dale. At the end of the A636 you will reach the Sovereign pub. Go straight on at the staggered junction onto the A635. Follow this road until you enter Holmfirth. After the Zebra Crossing turn left onto Dunford Road (B6106). CragRats Mill is situated a further 0.5 miles up the hill on the left hand side.

Southbound from London (M1):

Exit the M1 at Junction 35a onto the A616 (Manchester). Follow the A616 for 11.9 miles. At Hazelhead you will see a sign for Holmfirth. Turn left at the cross roads following B6106 Bents Road towards Holmfirth (past CragRats Hazelhead building). Follow the road down hill for 4.5 miles. CragRats Mill is situated on the right.

Public Transport:

The nearest mainline railway station is a short taxi ride, approximately 6 miles away in Huddersfield or Wakefield mainline station (2 hours from London) is 14 miles away. For train times call 08457 48 49 50.

There is also a bus station in Holmfirth Town Centre. CragRats Mill is a 10 minute walk uphill from the centre of Holmfirth Call Metroline on 0113 245 7676.

The 313 bus service from Huddersfield Rail Station goes to Holmfirth Bus Station and also stops on Dunford Road.
